Parvine MacDonald, LCSW

Parvine MacDonald enjoys partnering with her clients to resolve personal and relational concerns in a supportive, yet direct manner. She integrates her thirty years of professional expertise with a wide breadth of personal experience and a solid foundation of Christian faith.

“I have been privileged to work with amazing clients who have made decisions to overcome unexpected – and often painful – life circumstances as they move toward personal growth and change.”

Whether it is providing support and encouragement during times of crisis, grief or loss, challenging motivated individuals to overcome destructive behavior patterns, or educating and informing, Parvine treats each client with respect and compassion.

“My specialty is working with women and their significant relationships. I find it rewarding to walk with women as they deal with issues that include marital infidelity and/or co-addiction. I enjoy helping women set healthy boundaries and come to a greater understanding of their God-given abilities and resources. As a trauma-informed therapist, I provide EMDR to clients as needed.

As a mother of three children, two of whom are adopted, I also assist individuals and couples as they navigate the often painful and confusing path of infertility and adoption. As a cancer survivor, I understand the unique challenges of coping with serious illness, both for the individual and for the family as a whole.”

Parvine has additional expertise in working with:

  • ADHD – both child and adult
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Couples/Marriage counseling
  • Parenting issues
  • Personal and Professional Growth and Development
  • Sex Addiction (female)
